For the main dough
- 400 g white bread flour
- 9 g salt
- 7 g dry yeast
- 300 g full fat milk plus extra for brushing on the unbaked loaf
- 20 g dry milk powder (optional)
- 35 g unsalted butter cut into pieces and softened at room temperature, plus extra for buttering the pan
